Information Tree shows how information is structured and organized in IOS. It starts with an Institution, the highest body in your organization. Typically, an institution has libraries by faculty, departments, or divisions. For example, a university may have a Central Library, Faculty Library, and probably a Museum and an Archive. A library or department may have one or more repositories. For example, a Central Library may have a Book Catalog, a Repository of Theses and Dissertation, and probably a Museum of Science.
Please prepare your organization tree when registering repositories.
